Hello!
T4Tunes is a one-person voluntary labour of love organising shows and tape distribution for the trans+ community. After gigs started happening again "after the pandemic" and I was desperate to see live music again, much more disabled and slightly more trans than I was in 2019, I found myself in spaces feeling alienated. In the spaces I was in with my peers, I didn't hear the music I liked. In the spaces where I was listening to hardcore and heavy adjacent things that made me happy, I felt like an outsider amongst hardcore bros with questionable morals. I had no idea what I was doing when I organised my first gig but I did it and it happened and it went well. I knew I didn't want to make any money from these shows, I am trans and have identified as such for the best part of 15 years but I am privileged to not have transition-related expenses and want to help out those who do. I began referring to shows as fundraisers, which later evolved into calling them non-profit / not-for-profit. Paying venue hire, photographers, ensuring musicians are paid well and tickets are fairly priced is a lot to juggle and I don't want to make promises I can't uphold by using the word 'fundraiser'. I will continue to take 0 cut of ticket sales, endeavour to pay everyone involved in shows at union rate and pass on what I can to people who need money for HRT and such. At the time of writing, February 2026, around 400GBP and 1000 CAD have been donated from gigs.
For T4Tunes, I aim to book as many trans/GNC people as possible on every lineup, usually I seek projects where at least one member is trans/GNC, often transfeminine. I want more trans people on stage, I want them paid and I want them on lineups that make sense where they're not being tokenised for the sake of it. I am trans, autistic, a lesbian, physically disabled, working class and proud of all of those things. I want to make my gigs a safe space for everyone and will remain open to feedback wherever I may have missed the mark. On this note, if you are worried about running into someone who has caused you harm at one of my events - I welcome you to contact me regarding this so we can discuss ways to keep you safe. Please do not drag me into interpersonal issues, but if you have genuine concerns then I am on your side.
It is important to me that as well as hearing music they love and being around their peers, those who come to my shows can access support that they may be too scared to seek out or not know where to look. I aim to regularly have trans mutual aid groups table at my gigs to distribute resources such as information about accessing HRT outside of the often hostile NHS/private healthcare system, radar keys to access disabled/gender neutral bathrooms and information about our legal rights as trans people.
If you are interested in playing a show or having me distribute tapes for you please email me: t4tunes23@gmail.com. Do not message me without sending me an example of your music either with a Drive link or Tidal/Bandcamp/Soundcloud. I will listen to fully finished music, demos, a recording from your practice session on an old Nokia. Basically, if you can't give me a I can assist with show booking in the UK and BC,Canada. In London I have space for bands with up to 4 members to stay. I live alone in a ground floor apartment with parking right outside.
I love all genres and hope this is evidenced by what I book and choose to put out. My favourite genres are noise, hardcore, skramz, experimental hip hop, indietronica, most flavours of alt pop and emo. Please try to not take it personally if I don't get back to you or tell you that your music isn't my favourite thing. I am tired, offline a lot and honestly just very picky. I also am not a fan of mixed bills and believe it is my duty to put acts on lineups where they will be truly appreciated and gain new fans. In 2026, I will be focusing on booking touring acts with local openers. If I am unable to arrange a gig for you, I will put you in contact with similiar promoters.
Outside of T4Tunes, I work in the music industry in ways such as being a trustee for a youth music development charity, in accessibility roles, festival work and PA roles. I always want to see more people like myself represented in these roles and to work with my peers so if you need advice or want to chat about any of these I am always up for it as long as you are respectful of my time. I'm very proud to be in the roles I am in without going to university. I am especially eager to chat about the alternatives outside of formal education.
My advice for being a solid promoter is - be social, be professional, go to shows, listen to more music than you thought possible.
